At the time of writing this, my website has been online on Neocities for a full year.
This past year has been a great experience, I really like this community. I originally joined because I didn't use social media and wanted a space to share my coding projects, and along the way, I met some wonderful people and discovered an incredibly creative community.
I started working on my website, but didn't upload it anywhere yet. I don't have a copy of what the website looked like back then.
I created my Neocities account, but didn't upload anything.
I uploaded my website to Neocities, but it wasn't archived until August 30, so there are no snapshots showing how it looked before that date.
The first snapshot I found on the Internet Archive shows the website in a rough early state, but it's starting to take shape.
Around this time, I replaced the left column with a faux microblog generated from my RSS feeds, along some minor tweaks.
While searching for a font for my microblog, I came across 'DotGothic16' and instantly loved it.
New webweaver section.
There's a significant gap between this snapshot and the previous one because some of the snapshots in between are broken.
Significant changes here. Polished the navigation bar, new guestbook, more graphics.
I also overhauled the button container. I really liked how it looked.
Sunflowers and cats.
Overhauled the contact section. It's likely I did this earlier, but some snapshots are broken. Major overhaul on the projects section too, but again, the snapshot is broken :(
This is the final snapshot available on the Internet Archive. Unfortunately, it's broken and much of the content is inaccessible. However, I did add a dark mode after a user kindly requested it in my guestbook.
And here it is today. Not a lot of changes since the previous snapshot but I wanted to show the dark theme :D
